This is real peoples' material-what the normal person sees, touches, and often smells in a thousand places like Plattsburgh. Rust belt remnants of the past, when Americans labored, made things, and could depend on others to do the same. Overall, this comes from a body of work that constitutes an unvarnished historical record of the place. Good show.
